ABOUT KATTEGAT

Kattegat Mining Inc.

  • On December 7, 2020 Kattegat Mining Inc. signed an Option Agreement with 2787000 Ontario Inc. to acquire a 100% interest in the Duport Gold Mine for CAD 8.5M to be paid in tranches over a period of 30 months, that represents a cost of about $12 an ounce of gold based on a robust non-compliant resource done by Consolidated Professor Mines (CPM) in 1988. The Duport mine is subject to a 3% NSR, half of which can be purchased for CAD$ 1.5M. There is no work commitment.
     

  • On December 4th, 2020 Kattegat closed a CAD 1.3M private placement in which the first tranche of CAD 250,000 was paid to 2782000 Ontario Inc. for the pursuant to the Option Agreement.
     

  • Capitalization: 25.6 million shares Issued, Issued & Outstanding: 27,450,000, No debt, $1M in the bank.
     

  • Kattegat is now preparing an IPO to list its securities on the CSE.

  • A 1989 positive feasibility study completed by CPM based on the current resource of 705,000 oz Au grading at 12 g/t Au on 450 short tpd operation returned and US$450/oz Au price yielded a 12 year LOM producing average of 50,000oz Au per annum, a 21% rate of return and 2.28 year payback for production through to dore.

  • A 1996 pre-feasibility utilizing bio-oxidation using a US$400/oz Au price yielded a 23.65% IRR and NPV at 8% of $117 million over a 12 year LOM.
     

  • Estimated CAD$ 50M dollars historical expenditure includes 90,000m of diamond drilling, 2900m of underground lateral development, 1362m ramp, metallurgical studies, environmental studies, and economic studies.
     

  • RPA (a subsidiary of SLR) has re-addressed its 2006 NI 43-101 Technical Report for Kattegat. RPA estimated 313koz Au averaging 12.2gpt and did not incorporate the underground sampling data.
     

  • Kattegat will be operator of the project and intends to complete a new feasibility study and confirm the 1989 705,000oz resource delineated by CPM.

The Kattegat objective is to move towards permitting, engage with First Nations, mine planning and de-watering, mill planning and construction targeting full commercial production by 2025-26.

Mr. Scodnick, P.Geo., is an independent geological consultant and runs all activities through his wholly owned consulting company Servicios de Mineria CanaMex S.A. de C.V. which is based in Mazatlan, Mexico and Sierra Geological Consultants Inc. based in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Mr. Scodnick has spent a considerable amount of time in Mexico, Colombia, and Peru. He has 42 years of international experience in mineral exploration, mining development, plant design, and financing, primarily in the precious metals, base metals, rare earths, transitional metals, and industrial mineral sectors. 

His breadth of involvement ranges from acting as project manager of exploration over numerous field seasons to underground experience at the Lamaque Gold Mine in Val d’Or, Quebec, and the start up of the Velardena Silver-Gold Mine in Velardena, Mexico where Mr. Scodnick was the founder of Minorca Resources Ltd.. While with Minorca, he took the Velardena project from acquisition, exploration, and right through to production in 1993.  Velardena is currently held by Golden Minerals. Velardena has a resource of 65M oz of silver equivalent in the M&I category and 65Moz of silver equivalent in the inferred category, and the mill is still in operation today that he built in “93”. From 2010 to 2013 Mr. Scodnick was exploring and evaluating projects in Nevada, Mexico, and Africa. From 2013 2018 Mr. Scodnick supervised and carried out prospecting and exploration, and evaluation of several historic silver mines in Sinaloa State, Mexico for Auxico Resources. Mr. Scodnick has worked/lived in about 31 Countries around the world on almost every continent. From 2012 to present. Joel also founded Houston Lake Mining Inc. in 1995 and served until 1997. The company is now called Frontier Lithium which is gearing up for production on a lithium project in Ontario. Mr Scodnick serves as Qualified Person on several junior mining exploration companies.

Paul is an accomplished and registered Professional Geologist with 28 years in the mineral resource industry with extensive international business and strategic development, project review and evaluation, and project management experience. Provides project services and project analysis worldwide (Canada, USA, Mexico, Peru, Sweden, Norway, Brazil, Botswana, South Africa, Namibia, Argentina and Guatemala) with a primary commodity focus on nickel, PGE’s, copper and gold in both advanced and greenfields exploration projects and with leading organizations including Falconbridge, Noranda, BHP Billiton, Clarity Minerals, and the IFC. Strengths include strong managerial and organizational skills coupled with solid hands-on experience using a broad range of exploration techniques in a multitude of cultural settings and under a wide range of mining legislations. Recently acting as project evaluation specialist for International Finance Corp. (World Bank Group). Recently led the development of two high-grade gold deposits in NW Ontario. Significant experience in Canada includes project generation and implementation in key nickel and gold belts and in conceptual target areas using a variety of generative models adopted and modified over my career.

Mr. Billings has an MBA from the Harvard Business School and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Mark has been an investment banker, having raised hundreds of millions of dollars for small-cap companies, including several junior mining companies. Mr. Billings also founded and managed companies in the junior resource sector, in addition to being CEO, CFO or a Director of a number of publicly traded resource companies in Canada and abroad.

Mr. Inwentash is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of ThreeD Capital Inc.Mr. Inwentash has more than 30 years of investing experience. He co-founded Visible Genetics, the first commercial pharmacogenomics company, in 1994 and exited in 2001 to Bayer. Through two decades leading Pinetree Capital, Mr. Inwentash created significant shareholder value through early investments in Queenston Mining (acquired by Osisko Mining Corp. for $550-million), Aurelian Resources (acquired by Kinross or $1.2-billion) and Gold Eagle Mines (acquired by Goldcorp for $1.5-billion) to name a few.

Mr. Inwentash obtained his B.Comm from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. In 2007, he was an Ontario finalist for the Ernst & Young entrepreneur of the year award. In 2012, Sheldon received an honorary degree, doctor of laws (LL.D) from the University of Toronto for his valuable leadership as an entrepreneur, his philanthropy, and inspirational commitment to making a difference in the lives of children, youth and their families.

As a M&A business specialist advising in the structuring of private and public companies, he has demonstrated leadership, and provided guidance as a director/officer on various boards. Syd has evaluated, acquired, and taken companies public in the resource, technology, and medical industries where he has created positive ROI. Syd’s experience with companies in the various sectors include investments, operations, and/or the Reverse Take-overs (RTO’s) or going public transactions of companies on Canadian Stock Exchanges.

Experience in Training Start Ups, transfer design, Major Training Start Ups. History of commercializing and implementing new technology working with equipment designers, engineering firms and R & D teams. Proven international experience and ability to adapt to different cultures with excellent communication skills.

Sonia Carrasco formerly served as Personal Executive Assistant to the President of Dundee Sustainable Technologies Inc.  which supplies green technologies and technical services to the mining industry. She spent the last 20 years in strategic and key positions for private and public organizations. She has supported private placements,  securities administration, and public transactions. She will now assume responsibilities as an executive in charge of Kattegat’s global corporate communications. Ms. Carrasco comes from a technical accounting background and has a translation diploma from McGill University.

FRANK DUSOME
Advisor

Frank Dusome is one of the founders, President, CEO & COO of Good Mining Exploration Inc. since 2012. He is a true outdoorsman and in his element in the deep forests of Northern Ontario. He is an Aboriginal Citizen of the Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO), directly associated with his First Nations family ancestry, and the Traditional Territory of the Penetanguishene Drummond Islanders of Ontario. His previous experience as Liaison to Captain of the Hunt had him engaged directly as a member of the Lands and resources Committee with the MNO. In this capacity he worked directly with mining, exploration and other infrastructure companies on MOU’s and Impact Benefit Agreements. Frank has 30 years of experience in major project and business management. From his experience in bullion sales, metals research, and mining exploration, he is knowledgeable in the field of precious metals. Frank has significant superintendent experience in major construction projects, and large-scale base metal recycling and aluminum smelting operations. Frank has been working towards assisting other mining and exploration companies as an Indigenous Advisor, with their direct efforts associated with the Crown’s duty to consult with Aboriginal Groups.
